Drop to RememberOS from your iPhone

Build a Shortcut once — then "Drop to RememberOS" appears in the iOS share sheet everywhere. Share a voice memo, photo, or PDF straight into your memory.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app → + to create a new shortcut → name it Drop to RememberOS.
  2. Tap the ⓘ info icon → enable Show in Share Sheet. Under Accept, choose Images, Media, Files, and URLs.
  3. Add action Text and paste your API key:
    mv_your_key_here
  4. Add action Get Contents of URL and set:
    URL: https://rememberos.ai/v1/memory/collections/drop/drop
    Method: POST
    Headers: add Authorization = Bearer followed by the Text from step 3
    Request Body: Form → add field, type File, name files, value = Shortcut Input
  5. (Optional) Add Show Notification with Contents of URL so you see "created: N".
  6. Done. Now from any app: Share → Drop to RememberOS. It lands in your drop collection, searchable in seconds.
Why a manual build and not one tap? A one-tap shortcut has to be signed and tested on a real device first — coming soon. This recipe takes ~2 minutes and works today. Want a different collection? Change /collections/drop/drop to /collections/<name>/drop.
